Bulk Discounts Thinking about placing a larger order? We offer bulk discounts on most of our regularly-priced yarns. When your purchase total hits $100, the yarn receives a 10% discount. At $150, the yarn gets a 15% discount, and at $200, a 20% discount. Books, tools, videos, sale yarns, etc. may contribute to the total, but do not receive a discount. Knitting projects identified as "kits" are not eligible for the bulk discount, but will add to your total. Weaving projects receive the discount on the yarn component, but not on the pattern or winding fees, if applicable. Yarns priced by weight. Most of our products are sold in units of one, or "each," but some of our yarns come in put-ups that vary in size. Rather than just pick an average price, knowing that some people will overpay and some underpay, we have chosen to price these yarns by weight and simply weigh the cones or skeins as they are purchased. Perle cotton, some chenilles on cones, and some natural silks are examples. Information about packaging size appears along with other product information (such as fiber content)for the various yarns. The price per pound or approximate price per package appears by each item available to order. We won't know the actual price until we have the yarn on the scale, so your order total on the web site will reflect only an approximate price. Returns If we have made a mistake by sending you the wrong item, or if you have received something that is defective, call us! We will send the correct item and arrange for the return. You may return yarn for up to six months from the time of purchase. For web orders, if you return the yarn within two weeks from the day you bought it, we will refund the amount you paid for the yarn. For up to six months, you may return unused skeins for store credit toward another purchase. After six months, no returns are accepted. All yarn returns must be in new condition, with all original packaging. We do not accept returns on any skein yarns that have been wound into balls or on yarns wound from cones. All returns or exchanges must be accompanied by a copy of the receipt. Shipping is not refundable or applicable to another purchase. Pattern books, dyes, looms, loom add-ons, spinning wheels, sale yarns, yarns wound into balls, repair or replacement parts, and any special orders are not returnable. Defective or damaged DVDs or videos are exchangeable for the same title only. We cannot exchange them for another title or give a refund or credit. If we have paid the outbound shipping to you, your credit will be reduced by the amount of this shipping. Shipping We ship throughout the U.S. as well as internationally, using both the U.S. Postal Service and UPS. In general, smaller boxes go through the mail, while heavier and more valuable parcels travel by UPS. The shipping charge is based on the total dollar amount of your order; for domestic shipments follow the schedule below.Order total $00.00-$15.00 at $5.75 Order total $15.01-$25.00 at $7.00 Order total $25.01-$45.00 at $8.50 Order total $45.01-$65.00 at $9.00 Order total $65.01-$80.00 at $9.75 Order total $80.01-$100.00 at $10.00 Order total $100.01-$125.00 at $11.00 Order total $125.01-$150.00 at $12.00 Over $150.00 actual shipping & insurance. For shipments to Alaska and Hawaii, the following applies. Packages are shipped via the postal service, unless UPS is requested. In all cases, actual shipping and insurance costs apply, plus $2.00 per shipment. International shipments will be air parcel post unless other service is requested; any duty expense on international shipments is the responsibility of the recipient. In all cases, actual shipping and insurance costs apply, plus $4.00 per shipment. The minimum charge for international shipping is $5.75. Most looms and spinning wheels have the shipping cost included in the price listed on the web site, assuming they are shipping to a physical address (no PO Boxes) in one of the 48 contiguous states. At the above prices, we choose the shipping method, based on which is most economical. For orders of more than $150, we charge the actual shipping, including insurance. That means that we won't know what the shipping is until we have the box packed and on the scale. For larger boxes, UPS is almost always the more economical choice, so be sure to include your street address. Other services are available, at additional cost. (For example, if you prefer to have your box delivered by the U.S. Postal Service, even if UPS is more economical, we are happy to do it, but we will adjust the charge upward accordingly.) For expedited services, we offer UPS 3-Day Select, 2nd-Day Air, and Next-Day Air shipping; rates for these services are actual shipping and insurance, plus $2.00 per shipment. If you need to use one of these services, please place your order by calling us at 800-468-0035 rather than ordering on the web site. We can discuss the shipping possibilities and make sure that we settle on an option that will work for you. Color on the Web. The colors you see on your screen may not identically match the yarn in reality. Small adjustments in your monitor settings can make a large difference in the color of items on your screen. If you are considering weaving yarns, remember that we have sample cards of those available so that you can see snips of the yarn. If, when you receive a yarn, the color does not match closely enough for you, see the section on returns for directions on how to proceed. | PRIVACY POLICY
